Juliann Geraci

Graduate Teaching Assistant
Department of Mathematics, University of Nebraska-Lincoln
I am currently a 6th year Ph.D. student in mathematics at the
University of Nebraska - Lincoln, advised by
Dr. Alexandra Seceleanu.
My interests include applications of commutative algebra to
computational and theoretical neuroscience, neural coding, machine
learning, and data-driven approaches.
I received my M.S. in mathematics from UNL in 2021. A couple
years before that, I completed my undergraduate studies at
the
State University of New York at Oswego.
Outside of mathematics, I enjoy crocheting, baking, and playing video games.
I am currently exploring opportunities that allow me to apply mathematical and computational tools in data science, research, and technology-driven environments.
